Have you ever faced any profiteers? It’s a lost battle.

Yes, because you should warn them that 1+1=2 (for instance explaining the meaning of a shared right that they have never shared).

This means that:

• if you reveal the cryptic truth (1+1=2), they get mad because you are practically mocking them saying something obvious, therefore you are basically saying they are stupid, or mean, or a mix of both;
• if you don’t make them aware of the obviousness (!), eventually you can be sure they’ll come up with the brilliant excuse that they were allowed (to abuse), because you haven’t been saying anything (against the abuse) for all the time.
