Confusion
Strange are the people who presume you should know what they themselves know about their job, simply because you’re an adult. It’s as if you were expected to know every job, interest, hobby, or topic in the world. They often confuse the concept of “new” with “difficult” when they discover you actually don’t know something.
And yet, it’s not hard to understand: if something is new to you, you can’t possibly know it—by definition. You’d learn it at a pace that depends on your aptitude and interest in the subject.
